Following the successful holding of the previous International Conferences on Acoustics and Vibration, in
collaboration with Iranian major universities, which highly welcomed by university professors, industrial experts
and students; it is our honor to announce that the 8th International Conference of Acoustics and Vibration,
ISAV2018, is held by Iranian Society of Acoustics and vibration and Shahid Beheshti University (SBU) on 4th and 5th
of Dec. 2018 in Shahid Abbaspoor college of engineering, Tehran. Certainly, such conferences can provide an
excellent opportunity for meeting some of the most experienced scientists, researchers and engineers, from inside or
outside of Iran, to share their latest scientific achievements and technological developments in the different
branches of the acoustics and vibrations in order to enhance the motivation and knowledge of the students and
interested people in the mentioned field, as well as closer collaborations between university and industry. Some of
the pivotal parts of the conference are; keynote presentations from Iran and other countries, contributed oral and
poster papers, a specialized commercial exhibition, a number of technical workshops, and a student competition for
the selection of the best BSc, MSc and Ph.D. theses in acoustics and vibration. On behalf of the organizing
committee, it is a great pleasure for us to invite all industrial experts and academic researchers in vibration and
acoustics field, to participate in this special event, in any form of mentioned manners. We look forward to seeing
you in Tehran at ISAV2018.
